The brand-new single “Rise Again” is Memoremains’ first release of original material since their album Toxic Devotion (2025). In the spring of 2026, Memoremains gave fans a taste of new music by releasing their own take on Good Charlotte’s “I Don’t Wanna Be in Love.”
“‘Rise Again’ is a song about chasing dreams, enduring failure, and the reasons for keeping on trying, even when common sense might suggest otherwise. For the band, ‘Rise Again’ also represents a return to releasing music, as it has been over a year since our last original track,” explains vocalist and lyricist Johanna.
Musically, “Rise Again” is straightforward, high-energy pop metal. The accompanying music video was created with a similarly raw, unpolished approach:
“The band headed down to the basement rehearsal space, grabbed their instruments, turned on the lights, and started rolling the camera. One take. No retakes. The result is an energetic, feel-good video that shows the band pretty much exactly as they are in their rehearsal space,” says keyboardist and composer Mikko, describing the process.
The single “Rise Again”, which premiered on Finnish radio channel YleX, paves the way for the band’s upcoming releases.
